You Can Double Your Income on Twitter by Selecting the Best Twitter User Name

OK, you have heard of Twitter and wish to open an account. The first obstacle you’ll face is selecting a User Name. Here are the considerations, all laid out neatly and with money-making in mind.
FIRST CHOICE … YOUR OWN NAME
If you have a unique name or a recognizable name, then that is your first choice. For example, Jack Canfield is recognizable and he got @jackcanfield. That “@” sign always precedes the User Name on Twitter. Just get used to it; it’s just part of the Twitter culture and special vocabulary. Of course this does not work if:
-your name is already taken
-you have a very common name so that even if you get it no one will be sure it is you
In this case, you must go on to the next options…
SECOND CHOICE … A VERSION OF YOUR NAME
If you have a rather common name, like Bill Smith, or an uncommon name but it’s taken, then you need to be more creative. If you love bowling, you may try bowlerbillsmith. If you are a Realtor, you may try janesmithrealtor. If you have a certain characteristic that you are known by, like you are always happy, then you may try happyfranksmith. The purpose is to so differentiate yourself that when friends and colleagues and clients and potential clients hunt for you on Twitter, they will instantly recognize you, not just by your photo but also by the version of your name you have chosen.
Note, it is best to NOT use a company name because Twitter, at least at this time, is a person to person communication environment. However, it is also a possibility.
THIRD CHOICE … A COMPANY NAME
It is really not yet part of Twitter culture to use corporate names, but this is creeping in. Would you prefer to use the name of your company? Or, the name of your product? Or, the name of your service? Or, the name of your charity? These are valid, but only as a third choice.
